How to Transition Your Wardrobe From Winter to Spring!

We may be in the middle of Winter, but there’s no time like the present to make sure your closet is ready for what Spring has to offer (and living in Florida, is there really a “Winter” season?)
Tops that can bring you from Winter to Spring include solid colored t-shirts (both long sleeve and short sleeve) as well as off the shoulder and cold shoulder tops.  You can easily pair these with a trendy striped scarf or floral cardigan in the winter months, and go basic once the weather warms up.  Colors that will bring you into Spring include yellow, khaki and darker shades of blue moving to lighted shades in April.
Everyone needs that one pair of jeans that makes them look like a million dollars.  It should fit well in the waist (no overflowing) as well as length. While there are many to choose from, a 7.5- 8.0” rise is usually the way to go.  Skinny jeans continue to stay in style, either ripped or not, and can be paired with any top mentioned above! A pair of dark wash denim can easily serve as a going out pant. Shorter skirts can be winterized by the simple addition of a pair of patterned tights and longer bohemian skirts with a basic T and a short denim jacket continues to a fashionable and comfortable look.

T-shirt dresses are on-trend and extremely comfortable.  In the winter you can pair them with a sweater or layered under a long sleeve top.  In the springtime you can shed the layers and add a light scarf or statement necklace and you’re good to go!
Booties are great because they pair well with pants as well as dresses and skirts.  Opt for a black or tan suede pair – maybe one with a cute tassel to add a little pizazz!  Sneakers will always be in style – a nice pair of neutral colored slip on sneakers would go with just about anything in your wardrobe.  Here in Florida flip flops are always seen, no matter the time of year.

We feel that accessories make the outfit.  You can take any white t-shirt and a pair of jeans and dress them up with a cool statement necklace or choker and you are instantly in style.   Scarves are very versatile too.  Aside from keeping you warm if it is a little brisk out, they can add that pop of color your current outfit really needed! There are many scarves that can work in almost any temperature.  Stacking bracelets is also a fun way to add some sparkle and color to your casual duds.
Have these wardrobe building basics in your closet and you will never go wrong. They will work for anything from a planned date to a call for a spontaneous casual lunch with
